Hockey Time!

Good Morning!

Here is a typical morning around here lately. Camden waits by the front door to see Daddy ride off on his bike to work, and Blake wakes up with his roller blades! Too cute!

Baseball

We love baseball around here. Just this morning we got in our van to take Camden to school and there was a talk radio station on discussing baseball. Both Camden and Blake said, "Who's playing and who's winning?" They know the sound of baseball commentators due to an awesome daddy who also loves baseball. I love seeing all three of them watching baseball on t.v., listening to a game on the radio, or playing baseball in our backyard. It is truly a bonding time. Right now we have the luxury of watching Camden play baseball twice a week. Blake gets to start this week too! Here are some of our recent baseball photos.

We recently went to a Dodger game and remembered why we have become Angel Fans! We sat out in the left field pavilion (May have been our 1st mistake) and felt like we were in the middle of a war zone!!! People were being escorted out of the stadium left and right. Fights were going on, people were extra rude to Padre fans that were there and we ended up leaving the game a little early. We have always enjoyed the Dodgers, and going to games....but we have recently enjoyed Angel games more. It's either fireworks and the next day Disneyland, or Dodger Dogs and a free fight!!! (Also-Angels seemed more exciting to watch, and have been winning more.) We made the most of it and really enjoyed leaving the stadium to find the Temple and the beach the next day. You can't go wrong with either of those!!!

Camden was a great chef during this trip. He made peanut butter during the game out of our peanuts (he smashed them with his water bottle) and after the beach he made a salad with carrots and celery in his sea shell that he found. We all had to try his yummy creations!!!

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Camden caught a bug in his bug trap and then decided to bury it. He asked what would happen if he left it in the dirt. I told him an animal could dig it up or it would eventually decompose (teaching moment). He thought about it and then came to the conclusion that he would freeze his bug! He wanted to keep it forever! He put it in a baggie and put it in the freezer! Soon he added a Pokemon cheese noodle, fertilizer from following Will around outside as he was fertilizing the grass, some tri-tip, bread, and a fettuccine noodle!!!!! Will and I thought maybe he was trying to feed his bug but no, he said he just wants to keep all of his favorite things forever!

Blake found one of his favorite things and had to wear it for a full day. These were his 6-9 month old Dodger pants!!!! He found them in some clothes we were going through for a yard sale. Once he found them we were in trouble. He wanted to wear them all day and night and the next day. I convinced him that they needed to be washed (he would not accept the fact that they were too small). I told him the next day we could find some new ones at the store that would fit him. He found this soccer outfit at Target and was sold! He then wanted to wear this new outfit all day, and night, and the next day!

Another favorite at our home is to build tents. They are usually built with all the cushions off of our sofa or giant blankets. Here are a couple of the latest house tents. I love my boys!!!!!!!
